I give thanks to God for giving me this gift and trusting me
to birth it into existence.
Deztinni by Ashanti-Nichole was birthed in 2005. One day, Ashanti-Nichole was praying to God to show her what exactly he wanted her to do with her life. In a dream, he spoke to her telling her to do fashion. She was not sure at first what type of fashion to choose but God allowed the ideas to flow. It has been an uphill battle but Ashanti never gave up, in spite of the obstacles before her. She had many fears to overcome like not knowing much about the fashion world other than modeling. She never had formal instruction for the craft of fashion designing but knows that she possesses a wonderful gift from God. It was then that she realized that all she needed to do was focus and let God. Once that was instilled, everything started to come together. Ashanti is one of the few designers in the business that doesn’t use a pattern for her designs and has no educational background in fashion design.
